Membership

  1. Eligibility:
    Parents of all Telugu NRIs are entitled to become members of the Association.
  2. Admission fee:
    Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only)
  3. Member categories:
    1. Life Members: Any person who pays a sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) or more in one installment shall be called a "Life Member" of the Association.
    2. Ordinary Members: Any person who pays a sum of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) or more per annum shall be called an "Ordinary Member" of the Association.
    Note: On death of any member, his/her spouse shall continue to be a member of the Association.

The donations have been utilized for giving two pairs of uniforms and books to 12 students, 8 girls and 4 boys from poor families.

This is only a small beginning. From the next academic year starting June 2007, 100 students studying in government and municipal corporation schools will be given two pairs of uniforms and books, till they complete 10th class.

Already the preparation of list of 100 poor students is on. The same will be finalized after scrutiny and kept ready for distribution of uniforms and books, to enable them to continue their studies.
