It is a well-known fact that a number of Telugu boys and girls have been working in other countries throughout the world. Some of them acquired name and fame by virtue of their hard work and intelligence. Some have excelled in medical and healthcare and in information technology fields. They made our country proud in the comity of nations. They have also contributed significantly for the development of our country and also initiated number of programs/schemes for the welfare of the people at their native places.
In some families, all the children have been working abroad. Only their parents, almost all of them being senior citizens, are living alone here. Problems, especially physical problems associated with medical and health occur naturally during old age, which require immediate attention and assistance from others. It is, therefore widely and strongly felt that a sort of organization is required for that purpose, i.e., to provide/extend necessary help/assistance to the needy in time.
Against this backdrop the Telugu NRIs Parents Association is formed. It is registered under the Andhra Pradesh Society Registration Act 35 of 2001, with Registration No. 290 of 2005. The assocation is a voluntary service organization.
